A few things about me:

For the last many years I’ve been living in Sweden, where I began my doctoral studies in Biochemistry and Biophysics. I’m currently living and working in Philadelphia and plan to finish my studies here and head back to Stockholm to complete my thesis.

Around 2002 while living in Sweden, I began to take an interest in Photography after playing around with a friend’s camera during a week long camping trip to Norway. About a year later I acquired my first film camera and have been taking photos ever since. While living in Sweden it opened the doorway to travel around Europe and many other places. Not only was I able to see some wonderful places but I was also able to meet some great people. This experience helped me to see photography in a different light.

I would like to learn the many different aspects of photography to get a better understanding for the nature of it. Having said that, I shoot just about everything, having a focus more on variety.

Since joining Flickr in Dec 2007, I’ve seen a great number of brilliant photos and have learned a lot, not mention meeting a lot of great contacts. Btw thank you all for leaving such wonderful comments and awards, I really appreciate them.
