I like honest photos that express an emotion or tell a story. A simple photo that evokes a mood or reveals part of a person's character is as interesting to me as a highly processed HDR. That is not to say I do not enjoy visual displays and appreciate the attention to detail of an enhanced image, but I also try to find and fav in every person's album a few images that are clearly special to them. I like people, and as far as I'm concerned, the beginner has as much to offer in content as the seasoned semi-pro. I am looking for a connection or understanding with the photographer in his or her work.

Practically all of my images are from Boston, which has been my home for most of my life, and the photos I share are special to me because they are part of my everyday world.

I am not the least bit interested in "Explore"...I would rather people know and love my city.
