I am a full time computer technician at Purdue University North Central. As you can see from my collections I enjoy going to zoos, museums, car events, amusement parks, and State parks.

I have three cameras and a HD camcorder. I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT (purchased in 2006), a Canon PowerShot SD790 IS Digital Elph (purchased in 2008), a Canon 50D (purchased in 2008) and a Sony HDR-SR12 . I finally broke down and bought my Canon Digital Rebel XT after getting tired of missing shots with my old Sony because of its slow start up time. I also like all the features of the Canon Digital Rebel; being able to change lenses and start up in a split second is so nice. I bought the PowerShot as a replacement for my old Sony Cybeshot so I have a better point and shoot camera to carry around in places that I can not take the Digital Rebel. The PowerShot is a great little camera with a very fast start up time. I purchased the 50D as a new main camera because of the additional features that it has that the Rebel XT didn't have.

I have been given the nickname of “Snapshot” by my friends and it pretty much describes my photography style exactly. I usually don’t setup for a picture, I just take it. I also almost always shoot in full auto mode. I upload just about every picture that I take unless it comes out so blurry that nothing shows. I take lots of pictures for a couple of reasons. One, it is a hobby and I like the practice. Two, over the years a lot of the places I like to visit have changed and I wish I would have had pictures to remember the way things used to be. So now that I have a digital camera I take pictures of everything because I know someday that is all I will have to remember the past.
