I HAVE MOVED TO FACEBOOK!

My new address is www.facebook.com/brodikphoto. I don't think I'll have time for flickr anymore. It seems rather pointless, in 4 days after creating my facebook page I already got a first client. I'd be still happy if you followed me on facebook.

I'm 21 years old and I was born in Czech Republic. Besides loving photography, I'm also a movie addict, but these two pretty much sum up all my hobbies. I'm currently studying IT at one of the finest universities in our country, although I'm unsure if that's the way I want my life to be headed.

In January 2012 I bought my first DSLR - Nikon D5100 - and I'm working on improving my skills ever since, hoping that one day it could become more than a hobby.

I just love turning urban ugliness into art! I often get this feeling about some place...this strange photographic vibe! Then I start imagining a composition instead of just using my own eyes. And I don't stop until I discover some beauty in that otherwise boring sight. It's such a great feeling when the pieces finally come together and I can see the beauty through my camera instead of just picturing it in my head.

And the greatest thing about photography is - I can share those visions with other people!

I never took any shooting classes nor have I ever read any book about photography, I just capture photos the way I feel is right. I also don't use any sort of IM besides facebook, where I collect only friends I'm still in touch with, ignoring other requests, but feel free to add me here or send me an email.
