A wise climber once said to me that "mountaineering is the art of suffering", and no words have ever been more true. But, I am constantly amazed that despite that fact, I always want to do it again when it's over, and go further and push harder. I think climbing's in my blood, that the human body was built for it. There have been moments in the wilderness, where I feel the most happy, the most honest, the most free and alive I have ever felt. In every day life, when I need to, I can close my eyes and remember those feelings... I want that to fuel the work I do professionally.
