The Projecting British Islam programme is a series of high profile visits by British Muslims to the Muslim World. The aim is to showcase the integral role British Muslims play in all levels of British Society. The programme undermines a key part of the extremist narrative that the UK and the West is engaged in a ‘War against Islam’. The programme is co-ordinated by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
