I was born and raised in North Carolina and I am currently living in Asheville, NC (aka Ash Vegas). I’ve spent 6 ½ year in the United States Marine Corps.

Most people have this story of how they came into photography from a young age and have always wanted to become a photographer. Half of those stories are bulls….! These people thank that by saying that they been into photography from a young age means that there more dedicated to the art. So, if you’re a faker I guess you will be sending me some hate mail or dogging out my photography. If the shoe don’t fit disregard what I just said listed above. Some people have an eye for taking pictures and some do not. It’s just that simple.

I came into photography while serving time in the Marine Corps while stationed in Kuwait City. Good old disposable camera I had while over there. I would not pick up another camera for some time afterwards. I purchased an instamatic Polaroid camera and shot on it for a few years. I did not touch another camera until my lovely daughter was born in 1997. I was bitten by the bug then. When I was growing up in the projects in Asheville my parents did not have a camera (lack of funds) to take pictures of me and my siblings. There are very few pictures of me as a kid (about 24 that I’ve seen as of today). I was going to make sure that my daughter would not have that fate.

This has grown into a passion of mine over the years. I’m currently going to school to get my Bachelors Fine Art in photography. Up until starting school I have been self-taught in the craft of photography.
