  "I have been following Brio’s stream for some time now and was initially drawn to areas of photography and imaging that are weaknesses of mine. The standard of his work has been a constant source of amazement and inspiration in equal measure. His portrait work, in particular, is both sympathetic and illuminating. He allows his subjects to speak for themselves and he invariably manages to capture the ‘inner person’. His composition and lighting of subjects show great preparation and tremendous imagination. He also has a keen eye for the urban landscape around him. His work provides both education and amusement. I strongly agree with the opinions above. I can only recommend that you dip into his stream occasionally."

  i havnt been on flickr long, nor been a pro for much longer, but i know good work. brio is one of the very few photographers on here that i actually check their streams, comment, and really want to learn from on here, and i mean that.
  
  for me, its always fun to watch someone's art growing constantly and his does. i can tell he loves what he does, and that his hobby is turning into an obsession like most of us.
  
  his choice of treatments and cropping always allows the eyes to move around the picture, taking in every nuance and detail.
  
  please do yourself a favor and add him as a contact, just so you can keep up with his ever updating work.

Brio's work is extremely eclectic in terms of subject matter but also in terms of the post production techniques he uses. This results in an extremely varied body of work that is not only informative and revealing, but is also vibrant and exciting in terms of its visual style and the strong graphic art quality of all the images. This demonstrates an equally exciting eye not just for detail but also for subject matter, which in the main shows a great sense of humour in emphasising in many cases the absurd and surreal nature of imagery. It is always a pleasure to see what he is up to next, because he has this depth of visual awareness."
