This is a wee website thingie with collections of some of my photos from travelling this tiny planet. I have tried to include other links with the pictures so anyone can find out more about Islamic architecture, saving rhinos, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Tibetan Buddhism, etc.

The photos are organised by country and then by locations within those countries. The photos from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan & Kyrgyzstan and some from Turkey were taken on a SLR camera and then scanned before uploading. The difference in quality is obvious but hopefully you'll get an idea of what those places look like.

Don't trust the dates on all the pictures since my camera was not always properly set.

In addition, some of the locations are not quite right. I have selected the location using the options here on Flickr but keep getting inaccurate latitutudes and longitudes. Diligent research will give you the right places if you feel the need to go visit yourself. Or if you're lazy you could just send me an e-mail and ask for directions.

Many of the notes and paragraphs of information are not original. I have included links to other websites where possible. Some of the information was given to me by local guides at the sites. If anyone has corrections, please inform me. ALL PHOTOS ARE MINE.
