I've been a keen amateur photographer since the early 80s, and a keen traveller (well, holidaymaker) since the early 90s. We particularly enjoy visiting Landmark Trust properties (so far only in the UK).

My Flickr sets so far show a strong holiday bias, and are usually organised by date. I've now more or less exhausted umpteen CDs of archived photos, from digital cameras or scanned slides. Heavens knows when I'll get round to doing more scanning! Meanwhile, we're still having holidays and generating yet more photos!

I'm torn between exercising critical judgement and including less-than-perfect photos that nonetheless might give others an impression of places they're thinking about visiting; but I think I'm tending toward the latter :-)

I'm hoping too that this will simplify the Xmas newsletter by moving the holiday photos online!
