"I am very pleased that I found your site and we made contact.

Much of your work appeals to me. Your extraordinary imagination, avoidance of the commonplace or expected, revulsion for established patterns . . .and the technique in your works evinces power, precision ( at times-- at others a liberal use of controlled chaos) and clarity of intent."

    me-jade says:

"Brian makes extraordinary, marvellous artwork. The way that diverse elements are brought together into a brilliant whole is always impressive. I particularly love the layering of imagery and the way that the work is often detailed and intricate at the same time as being expressive and painterly. I find I can return to look at Brians work again and again, discovering new things each time I look at a piece."

    alex itin says:

"I've spent a fair amount of time missing Jean Michael Basquiat. but after looking at the work or and collaborating with the man Brian Raszka, I realize that JMB was an idea as much as Twombly, or Pollack is an idea about painting. Painters come and go, but the poetry of paint grows on the shoulders. You will see some hints of JMB and graffitti in general, but look harder, this is art to save the culture as much as Joyce or T.S. Eliot. This is a new media, where the brush meats the pen and become some sort of new poetry. Spend time. Look. Read. Enjoy."
