The Brazilian Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing cultural education and building community through the preservation and sharing of Brazilian culture.
Established in 2001, the Brazilian Arts Foundation provides low-cost programs in Brazilian Portuguese, Brazilian music, Afro Brazilian dance, Samba and Capoeira at our cultural center in the historic Heights district. Classes are offered for children, adults and seniors with the goal of promoting education, good health, and vibrant culture. In order to extend our reach beyond the cultural center’s walls, we also partner with a variety of Houston-based organizations, including schools, museums, community centers, businesses, treatment centers, facilities and other city and state organizations. Community-based programming is what keeps us growing and keeps our mission alive.
