Photography has been a hobby (and profession for a very short time in my younger years) for close to 50 years thru Pentax and Nikon SLRs, Leicas and Hassleblad. Now I'm just having fun with a camera 101 - I use a Canon G7 "pocket camera" - I try to limit effects to what I could have done in a film darkroom 'cept for posterizing. I don't like digital zoom so 99% of the time what you see is what 6x gets.

I'm a Master Maine Guide who has logged over 700 4-season treks over 35 years involving right around 7,200 muscle-powered back-country miles, and yet have done it all as a volunteer. Definitely a dog person, you'll catch a pooch or two in some of the pix. I am currently have one Springer, Patches, who is 14 years old, and one Brit, Opie, who is 3.

I'm a clothing optional kind of naturist, and most of my friends are pretty casual around a good strip n' dip spot , nude images are limited to friends or naturist Flickr Groups.

    Jeff Libby Maine Guide says:

"Maine trekker, the foremost master guide of guides. Get him talking about anything to do with nature, or the outdoors, and you can almost witness the passion flowing through his veins. His days are inspired by the evening sky, and his attitude is corrupted by cloud formations. A friend he'll always be; to anyone and everyone who takes the time to listen to the wilderness, who can witness his eyes widening like an eagles wings as we crest the ridgeline in subzero conditons, or crash through white water on a class three rip in an open canoe full of needed gear. He's the guy that everyone in the hiking community should be tied off to... An anchor in rough seas.... He is the definition of friend and one hell of a hiking partner, he just might take a few extra photos on the trips..."
