Eccellenza italiana è il vino aromatico rosso Brachetto d’Acqui docg, nella versione spumante e tappo raso, è ottenuto dall’ uva Brachetto. Nasce in Piemonte in una zona collinare molto scoscesa ma generosa ed altamente vocata: l’Alto Monferrato, nei 26 comuni attorno ad Acqui Terme tra la provincia di Asti ed Alessandria. Gradevole, brioso, allegro e profumato, è dolce e leggero di alcol (5.5% vol.- 7% vol.). Il Brachetto d’Acqui docg è ottimo bevuto in purezza , ma anche miscelato per long drink. Si abbina perfettamente ai dessert, con le fragole, le pesche, la frutta secca. Il Brachetto d’Acqui docg, va bevuto fresco ad una temperatura di 8°C - 12°C in bicchieri a circonferenza leggermente ampia per favorire lo sviluppo delle sfumature aromatiche del vino; se ben conservato, mantiene i suoi caratteri per oltre due anni.

Italian excellence: the aromatic wine known as Brachetto d’Acqui docg, in both spumante and straight cork versions, is made from Brachetto grapes. Its homeland is in the Piedmont, in an area of steep-sloped hills that is particularly fertile and well-suited to grapevines: the Upper Monferrato, including 26 municipalities clustered around Acqui Terme, between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria. Pleasantly lively and aromatic, Brachetto is sweet and has a low alcohol content (5.5% - 7% vol.). Brachetto d’Acqui docg is excellent by itself, but can also be used as a cocktail ingredient. It is the perfect accompaniment for desserts and also goes well with strawberries, peaches and dried fruit. Brachetto d’Acqui docg should be served chilled, at a temperature of 8°C - 12°C, in wide glasses that let the drinker fully appreciate the development of the wine’s bouquet; if properly stored, the wine retains its characteristics for over two years.
