I am currently working as a first grade teacher for Knox County Schools, my very first teaching job! Working with children and making a positive impact in their lives is one of my true passions in life. As far as photography, i love taking pictures of nature, finding the beauty in God's creation. I also really enjoy children and family portrait photography (especially when i get paid for it, too!). Most importantly, though, i am a Christian. I am not a Christian because of what i do, what i say, how i act, or even which church i belong to. I am a Christian because i came to the realization that i was separated from a holy and all-powerful God because of the sin that is in my very nature, asked God for His forgiveness and grace, and, based on His promises, received His free gift of salvation. So, what i do, what i say, and how i act is not a means of gaining salvation, but rather my rational response to the grace, love, and mercy of God. It really is that simple.

Proverbs 3:5-6
