I have just moved back to NZ after living in Canada for the last few years.

I shoot with a Rebel XTi with the 18-55 kit lens, nifty fifty and recently was given the 70-300 IS as a birthday present (lucky me!). I'm looking to replace my kit lens with the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 but will have to wait while I save up.

I'm mainly interested in travel photography, landscapes and wildlife. Would like to get into macro photography in the future and also experiment with B&W. Need to learn more about post-processing though. I am currently working through Scott Kelby's 7-pt System for CS3. Most of my PP is done using Picassa3, very simple to use although not the same degree of control as CS3 or Elements. Have joined a local Photography Society which is great fun and encourages me to try harder with my photography.

In addition to the places I've visited below, I've also seen the inside of airports in Honolulu, Nadi (Fiji), Stockholm and Denver. ;) Still so much of the world to see.
