Currently:Here goes! I seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth, right? I'm still here, and back soon. I apologize for not notifying those of you who care-in the last three months I have realized that my determination to remove myself from some pain meds had removed from life almost entirely. I had to try!... I cannot function or be a human being at all without them. Much thanks to my husband for putting up with me during this time. I needed to be sure, due to side effects, that I really needed to be on them, and if so, how little could I take. It's been quite rough, to say the least, but I'll be back by Thanksgiving.
I am a devoted avian friend and amateur photographer. I have taken over 10,000 pictures of wildlife and landscapes in the last 3 years. I PREFER wild outdoor spaces to crowded indoor places, and would love to travel with my camera(s). If I had to make a choice between any of my possessions and the life of any wild bird, I would not hesitate in my response. It would be the latter! (EEK, what about my camera!?)
Around 20 years ago, I was very close to becoming a "PRO", when life happened. Luckily, with the best present of my life, (from my husband), and in spite of being disabled at times by pain due to back and neck injuries, I am again, able to pursue what I love to do: immerse myself in the inspiring world of nature.
My hope is that my photos will bring YOU closer to nature as well. I am also working slowly on stories that go along with these pictures on my website.
Note: During the summer, I am away off and on frequently. If you do not get a quick reply from me regarding anything, it is for this reason, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. For reasons which I'm sure you can understand, I do not post the dates I am gone. If you are a follower of my photostream, there will usually be some indication that I am gone. I usually reply that same day to any activity on my photos, etc., so if you don't get a quick reply you will know why. AND I WILL ALWAYS REPLY in kind-even though it might take me awhile times to catch up, as my family, and my little world, should come first! What goes around, comes around! (Maybe it won't be till the next life, but...)
