After 15 years as a journalist, reporting for some of the leading newspapers and magazines in Sweden, Roger Borgelid 2003 turned his focus to photography.
Still just starting up his new career, Borgelid has already earned recognition:
He was named ”Photographer of the year” by the well renowned artphotomagazine Black & White Magazine, after winning their contest Single Image Awards in 2005.
He released his first own book in 2006; “Med himlen runt hörnet”, a coffeetablebook about a famous mountainlodge in the north of Sweden.
And in 2007 one of his images was chosen to be published in the book “The worlds greatest black and white photography”.
