I named my website for the boreal forest of Northwestern Ontario where I have lived, worked, and played for the last 35 years. The landscape and wildlife of the boreal forest has inspired much of my work over those years. Also known as the Taiga the boreal forest exists as a nearly continuous belt of coniferous forests across North America and Eurasia. On average over a thousand miles wide this belt makes up the largest single terrestrial ecosystem on the planet.
