I like small groups better than crowds here, and in real life too.Right now, I have more contacts than I reallly ever intended to have, and do not wish to add more, thanks all the same. People who keep in touch tend to stay contacts, and become real friends in this funny virtual world of flickr...in preference over those who passively accept , but don't make, visits. Those who don't ,I let go.People who fave, and yet have no photostream of their own, unless they know me personally, I will block.
I am not knowledgeable about cameras, lenses or technology.. I have a point and shoot digital camera, small enough to take everywhere. Some days I find better pictures than others; whether that is because of me, or the world around me, is anyone's guess.

    Foxglove says:

"fifi, one of the small number of flickr-ers that I have met and our meeting was a completly happy serependipidous exchange following the call of "foxglove" behind me. I am recognisible!
All the best mixes of flickr are here, the artisitic, the quirky, the domestic: An open mind is always an enquiring and honest one. The fire juggler was in the street again today but it was obviously too cold for wee whippets and to bootpaint the street.
    thanks for all the visits!

    RS... says:

"She takes pictures the way she breathes, keeping a photographic log book of everyday life, keeping alive little details, lost gloves, lost umbrellas ... , lost dogs, cats, birds or their feathers ... abandoned chairs, shop windows ... all these things, and I am forgetting a lot, that make a life a life."

a shadow of my future self says:

"fifi led me to discover my Nerd score to be 31. That it is 31 is oddly disturbing and reassuring to me at the same time.

Apart from this sea change in understanding of myself that came about due to following fifi here, I follow her because her quiet observation skills and deep insight, eloquently and simply expressed, visually and verbally, inform me a lot about the world around me in a way I really like.

    Positive and strong."
