I've been obsessed about photography from as far back as I can remember....I have always had a camera in hand...Always seeking out and/or creating sets, settings, situations to be captured.....
Capturing moments and essences of people, places and time with my magic box is my passion...Created moments or absolutely (sur)real, I want to capture it....all of these moments in time.....
I started doing senior portraits as a sophomore in high school. I photographed my first wedding by the time I was 17. Some of my earliest dreams included me being an adventurous photographer for National Geographic, which mesmerized me as a child and still I get lost in (I have copies dating back to the 1940's) those images today....
By 18 I was bitten by the Britain Bug and was living there full time by Christmas of 1984, singing back up in a band and designing and making leather wear & adornments for the gothic at heart....
I went kicking and screaming into the digital age....A die-hard grainy, high-contrast-y sort of black and white film girl, I stumbled upon it's amazingness when called upon to do a last minute photo shoot - borrowed someone's digital camera, and by the end of the night, I was hooked....
I do still love and adore film and I have a huge project in front of me, scanning and uploading, archiving all of my film work, from my London days to today.... I'll be sharing all of that soon.....
In the mean time, I fill my time with collaging, making pretty things, seeking out new adventures of the heart, mind & soul, meeting new friends, making more art & love, creating my life........
