I photograph faces, specializing in lifestyle, editorial and event photography.

Alexis hails from a small town in the Borneo Islands, into a humble but musically talented family consisting of musicians, vocalists and performers. Growing up in an art-conducive environment, she knew immediately that she loved arts more than sciences, language more than numbers, being creative rather than playing by the rules, and enjoyed the study of societal behavior. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in one of the most prestigious universities in the Midwest.

She is a person of many interest and embraces all aspects of art. She loves languages and creative writing and appreciates popular media as much as classical music, which she’s been taking lessons for since she was four. She mastered the art of drawing a perfect human form by ten but find pleasure in sketching comics and graffiti. Her knack for creativity has lead her to explore blogging, cooking, graphics designing, guitar playing, dancing, sound recording, and now she is absolutely obsessed with taking photographs.

Two years into her semi-professional career, she has had the opportunity of doing her first fashion & beauty photo shoot, becoming a contributor for Getty Images, entering her first photography competition, starting a 365 project, and the list piles on. She's currently working on her weekly portrait photo shoot involving individuals from different walks of life.

She finds nothing more exhilarating and rewarding than seeing her clients beam with genuine happiness when they look at the photos she took of them for the first time. She draws her inspiration from an insurmountable desire to learn and observe. She hopes to meet the likes of Chase Jarvis, Yu Tsai, Jeremy Cowart, Zhang Jingna and Lara Jade and have coffee with them, talking about everything other than photography.
