I enjoy reading, embroidery, sewing, baking, Scrabble and UpWords, big dogs, cookbooks, doodling, and being silly.

Since I'm a bookworm :) here's a list of my fave authors: Fannie Flagg, Ray Bradbury, Steven Millhauser, Jean M. Auel, and George Orwell. Honorable mentions include Anne Fadiman, Aimee Bender, Elizabeth McCracken, and Ruth Reichl.

One of the first "grown-up" books given to me as a chlid was A tree grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, it is a favorite of mine.

I'm always open to new suggestions as to what to read next! I like quirky fiction, some-sci (along the lines of Ray Bradbury and time travel), short stories, and foodie books.

I normally ship out swap packages within 48 hours of finalizing details/exchanging addresses and I expect the same. (If something unexpected comes up that would delay me mailing, I will do my best to notify you promptly). I usually use delivery confirmation when shipping custom embroideries and HTF/OOP fabrics and will share that # with you once I mail off so you can track your package.
