I'm a married father to a small (was tiny) miracle. My photostream is intended mostly for family to try to keep up with the antics and goings on that revolve around her. Therefore, there are too many of the same pose, too many of the same subject. None of the photos on this stream are larger than 800 pixels on the long end. None are saved as 'high quality' - indeed, they're all 'low quality' on purpose. There will be a drought for some time, then a flood of a ton of photos when we come back from an event of some kind.

Since she turned 1 year old, my daughter's photos are friends/family only. I'm leaving the birth to 1 year photos 'public' because I believe that there is value in showing the path she went through. She has touched many hearts by her struggle, and that makes it worth it.

The default for kid pics is that they'll be friend/family, unless the subject is not recognizable or if I have explicit permission from the parents to upload their child's photo to the 'net. If I took your child's photo and you don't see it, contact me to have you added as a 'friend'. However, I don't upload most of them, and will have a CD of the event made. If you choose to upload your child's photo, I do ask that you credit me as the photographer, please.

The same applies for dogs... though for most dog photos, I have a 'pay' site that I will send you to to find your photos.

If you find this to be restricting or offensive, then my stream is not for you. If you want to see a 'large' version of a photo, I might send you a copy, but I want to know what you're going to do with it. Otherwise, 800pixels is all you'll see if you're a friend, and 'medium' (533) otherwise.

Sorry if that offends. Take it up with my dog. He'll care.

If you add me as a contact, and I see no photos, and I check out your favorites, and find adult themed images, you will be blocked. If your icon is the default 'block' and there are no images or favorites, you will also be blocked. I'm not sorry if THAT offends.

Thank you for inviting me to your group(s). However, I am not joining (and have left) groups that force comments. Comments on photos should be made from the heart, not because you have to, to meet a group requirement. I am flattered that you think a photo of mine is worthy of an invite group, but if that group comes with it a requirement to comment on 'x' pictures after I post, I respectfully decline to join that group.

Similarly, large animated comments will be deleted. They don't have a place in my photos. You wouldn't go to a showing, and bring bumper stickers along to plaster on the ones you liked, now would you? If you must, post a link, and I might go look at your fancy gif. I may not. Archie the wonder poodle will, I'm sure, as he's into those things.

"Bold Puppy is the first contact I met through the flickr Canon 40D group.
He is very personable and comes with a wealth of knowledge which he is always willing to share. Bold Puppy helped me decide to buy the Canon 135 f2 L lens and I am very pleased he did as it is now my favourite lens in my line up, no question about that.
I can very much relate and empathise with Bold Puppy's incredible journey with his daughter, not in exactly the same way, but in a way that only a parent who goes through tough and challenging times can.
(We have a son with Aspergers Syndrome which can be extremely wearing as it is a constant challenge).
Photography is my passion and my release and I am so glad that I have found this group to grow and develop my skills.
Thanks Bold Puppy for your ongoing support, you are wonderful!"

"BoldPuppy is one of the kindest, most friendly people that I know on Flickr. He knows so much about photography and is always willing to explain it....no matter how long it takes. I love seeing his work, and learning from what he has done.
He is also the biggest Canon 135mm f2 L enthusiasts I've seen!
I hope that my photography is as good as his one day!"

Some people just shine above others, and I'll give BoldPuppy a star in my opinion! I just smile whenever I see a photo of his."
