I was an art student for years. I started in middle school, won a "best in show" award in high school, received an art scholorship in college...drawing was what I loved the most. Unfortunately, that passion slowly decreased throughout the years. It is rare that I pick up conte pencils or charcoal pencils or markers and create a piece of art on paper..Very Rare!
It's not that I don't want to do it, I would love to actually, I just have no motivation, no passion. That was my creative outlet and without it I feel pent up with a part of me trapped inside. So, after spending months of looking at a family member's page on Flickr, I tried it. Now I have something I look forward to doing and something that gives my creativity a place to express itself. I finally feel artistic again!
