"Honestly spoken, I deeply feel that "Bogenfreund" has got a very high grade of photographic skills and maturation within a breathtaking short time. Buying the Nikon D80 has changed his - and my life!
I look forward to see his newest works on Flickr every night with some eagerness and an old fathers proudness. I love his distinctive, creative and precise way to view the world and to capture some notable moments of time. There is not only a congeniality of nature but also a congeniality of our souls which makes me very happy. He has developed a very distinctive "handwriting" in his style of photography. It took me much more time to reach that level. I have been much longer the brave photographic craftsman - he directly started as an artist. I guess his excellent talent of telling stories did help him to do so. His pictures tell stories - which I do love very much.
And I have started to learn lots of things from him which I appreciate so much.

"I feel I revel so much in this photostream that I need to say something about the work this man displays. I came across Bogenfreund's work quite by accident. I'm certainly glad I did! He's still young and becoming quite the master at this craft! He has an amazing and natural perception of contrast. The mix of light, silhouettes and photographic technique leaves something rather spectacular for the viewer. A delicious blend of atmosphere, trepidation and calm lend to the focus of his brilliant forest and cemetary visuals. The shadows of a row of palm trees and the dramatic cast of a sunset's golden light gives you a sensory availability to destinations that, otherwise, might be inaccessible to you. You want to jump into these photographs and be a part of a pictorial life you wish was yours! Thanks for the work you put into them Mr. Freund! I hope to see more of your talents emerge from my liquid crystal display!"
