I am a mostly retired home designer and part time dive guide living on the Big Island of Hawaii having moved from Northern California in 2004. I specifically guide guests to the Manta Ray night dives which has been known as one of the top ten dives in the world and most guests tend to agree. The photo below from my flickr buddy, Eurisko, shows the dive site called Manta Heaven where I spend my evenings.
If I am not working as a guide you will see me with a camera underwater taking advantage of the wide range of sea life present in Hawaii and taking advantage of my favorite model, my wife, Jamie. Flickr has become an integral part of my life as contacts become friends, techniques are studied, and I am ever amazed at the talent that exists on this site. I love macro to wide angle, ambient light or strobe, and I love to travel to dive but it is so easy to jump in any day in my own back yard. Mahalo for visiting my site!
