I'm a 50-Something VERY happily married man, but I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.... however, photography will always be a big part of my life. My dad gave me a camera at age 12, his Voigtlander 35 mm range finder model in its shiny brown leather case. Photography has been my passion ever since.

I was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania north of Pittsburgh and south of Erie, Pa. As a child of the 1960's, living close to New York state and a big rock and roll fan, I naturally ended up at the the Woodstock Music Festival at Max Yasgur's farm. Dispite that, I didn't 'drop out' and in fact, managed to graduate college from a small liberal arts school near Pittsburgh, Pa.

Career paths have included social service work with the American Red Cross, real estate sales and brokerage, appraisal of real estate and also machinery & equipment and currently disaster damage inspections with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Places I've lived as an adult are in order: Cheney, Washington (near Spokane); Monterey, Calif.; Fairbanks, Alaska; Crailsheim, Germany (between Stuttgart and Nürnberg); Riverside, Calif. (in the Los Angeles basin); Pittsburgh, Pa.; Morgantown, West Virginia, Painesville, Ohio and now in Jackson, Miss.

Cameras owned - DIGITAL: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30; and Fuji S-700. FILM: Canon: EF, AE-1, A-1; Bronica ETR-S (1.5x2.25"); Speed Graphic (4x5")
