Bob Bekian launched ProHD Rentals, a trend setting production rental company in 2005 following over two decades of an award-winning successful career in sales and marketing. As Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Comtel Pro Media (the world’s largest media distributor for Sony) in 1998, Bekian grew the company from 8 million to 30 million in just 5 years time. After ten years with the company, Bekian launched his own and became known as the “production concierge”, leading emerging trends within the entertainment industry.

A born out of the box thinker, Bekian grew up as a professional skateboarder, boarding with the legendary Z Boys of Dogtown. At a very young age, he learned that limits should be pushed and new adventures should be embarked upon. As he grew up, he became a collector of the latest pop culture icons and movie posters. He owns 6,000 comic books. His love for the entertainment and sports industry continued to grow and it became a natural transition to build his clientele with sports figures in the NBA and then eventually in Hollywood. “Bob created the most creative partnership that was ever negotiated by a media company for the NBA,” Director of Corporate Relations, Michael Scott stated.

Bekian clients have included Mark Burnett for the shows Survivor and The Apprentice, Disney, FOX, VH1, MTV, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Warner Bros., Snoop Dogg, Shirley MacLaine, Brandiand Ray J, Paris Hilton, Gerard Butler and Bret Michaels.

From his first company ProHD Rentals, Loyal Studios was born and became the premier pre-lit studios with locations in Santa Monica and Burbank. Bekian built the company’s reputation on a high level customer service “one stop shop’ for producers and became the innovator in providing a one-call service for industry professionals wanting to focus on their creativity. In June, 2010 Bekian acquired Green Screen LA which expanded their production service to a 5,000 square foot facility which includes a state of the art HD pre-lit sound stage (slated to open in November, 2010), 75 HD cameras, new technology with a 3D studio, an old Hollywood vintage set, a commercial kitchen and 50’s style diner set that seats fifty. “There are a lot of studios in town that offer a studio with lights, but they are a la carte and when producers are concerned about their line budget, the cost can add up quickly. Our unique package offers a one-time fee that is all inclusive,” says Bekian. “Our catering department, ‘Loyal Catering’ offers complete gourmet meals and additional concierge services including valet parking, limo service, full-service crews and much more. We are fortunate to have deep relationships with our creative teams and our Emmy-award winning crews accomplish excellent results efficiently while being cost effective.”

Creating worlds where there are no limitations, Bekian loves using new technology to tell stories in new and different ways. He has directed over 15 commercials and has directed and produced several music videos
He is currently producing commercials and other television projects including a 6-episode science fiction drama titled “Venice 13”.

Bekian resides in Thousand Oaks, CA with his wife Sonia and their two boys Shane and Bryce.
