Thank you so much for looking at my gallery and giving me feedback! It is a pleasure to share a passion for photography - for shape, colour, design, texture ...

I love this quote by morbidthegrim (Mike Shaw from Deviant Art) ... I think it says it all:

"Who we are:
We are art, we are the soul on the page, in the image, in the words, we are expression, we are alive in our work, we are a belief that we can change something, we are hope, we are historians, we are collectors of life. We show, we give, we soul search and are searchers, we are researchers, we are the path we took to get the image, we are the breath we took and had to hold so as not to disturb anything for that one microsecond. I am just starting out with my photography.

What I'm discovering, is that photography puts more "life" into "life"! It makes me aware of my surroundings in a way that captures my imagination and opens up an inner well-spring. It makes me smile every day - looking at colours, shapes, living creatures, tones, images .... not just in response to what I photograph, but in looking at others photography also. It is a happy experience!

I'm hoping that in sharing my photography, others will feel such a range of emotions also.. I think photography (as with other art forms) can offer a very healing and uplifting experience, and put us in touch with far more than we would ordinarily be aware of.

Personality-wise: sensitive, kind-hearted, creative, strong-minded, open (on the positive side! lol!).
I enjoy animals and nature.
My lifestyle is quiet.
I live with my daughter - who is ill at the moment (hence the quiet lifestyle).

This quote was underneath one of my contact's photos - and is another great thought to consider:
"People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth.
