Photography is a pathway to seeing the world; the shapes, the colours, the textures and emotion - and attempting to describe it in your own language.

This is not my job, I do it for myself, for fun, seriously for less than a year, though I've been taking photos for 20. My interest is the coast - the boundary between land and water and the opportunities which lay hidden beyond the horizon. I'm also fascinated by the things we build - and often forget and pass by daily without a second thought.

From the east coast, I've lived and worked all over Australia, but find myself for the last nine years in the west, living between the river and the sea, close to the unique town of Fremantle.
