I'm easy to spot in a crowd...I'm the one with a camera growing out of my face...

To say I take photographs constantly may be a bit of a stretch, but it's fairly close to being an accurate statement. I like to feel what is around me, then try capturing that moment...hopefully making the photograph more than just something visual, but something felt.

My heartfelt appreciation for stopping by to visit with me...please, no award groups or big flashing icons. If you would like to BLOG any of my photos, please ask for permission first.

"This woman, Sharon, has this uncanny ability to hit me to my very core with her images. Frequently, her posts have a visceral impact on my psyche. It's almost as if she were a psychologist bringing me to a new insight and I usually feel transported right into her posts. Sharon's tremendous style is unique and solidly all her own. There is a very strong and sensitive woman behind this beautiful BlueChameleon world, so venture through slowly....I want all your wishes to come true, Sharon, and I love you."

"Sharon's stream was one of the first ones I had found two years ago when I joined flickr.. and I was hooked immediately. There was an incredible depth and beauty about her images.. they resonated very deeply with me. There is an unmistakable aura of mystery and intrigue in her work, and each piece transcends the moment she captured into a feeling.. a mood.. a song. She has been an inspiration for me and I've always found both peace and a sense of intuitive understanding of the world through Sharon's eyes. And now I am lucky enough to call her a friend. All the best to you, Sharon!"

"Its a little sad for me, but I sometimes find it difficult to find strong, intelligent, artistic women on flickr. Which is why I couldn't believe my luck when Sharon 'found me' through my blog. This woman is a serious contender, an inspiration and a kindred spirit. She has my absolute respect and produces beautiful, evocative, 'pieces' - combinations of words and stolen moments, pockets of perfection that always strive me to push myself further. In short shes a true artist, its in her soul.....and she's also become a lovely friend. :)"

"I guess other people have said most things already, but I still wish to add my voice to the choir of admirers. One thing that really impresses about Sharon's photographs is how difficult it is (and maybe even impossible) to break them into individual elements (in other words, analyse them). As an amateur photographer, this is what I normally do: I analyse what masters are doing, and then try to repeat that, step by step. This just does not work with Sharon's photographs. Perhaps it is exactly that "non-analyse-ability" which makes her work art in the true sense. I only wish for larger images (but absolutely understand why she cannot post those). On top of everything else, her choice of music (or lyrics) that accompanies her photographs always puts me in the right mood (I cannot help but be sentimental to the music of my own youth). All in all, I am deeply grateful to Sharon for sharing her work with us on flickr."

Sharon seems to occupy a dream world, a beautiful space where everything is both less and more than what is seen. Each image is evocative, inspiring, and emotional. Beautiful work, and I look forward to seeing more."

Your work is compelling; it often has to be looked at and taken in before a deeper meaning, beyond the instantly apparent, and understanding, beyond the superficial, can be fully grasped. I think your past maybe full of sorrow, yet think this is also a major driving force in your work. Thanks for being an inspirational Flickr photographer!"

You make me so happy, not because you comment on all my images..heheh ( that might be one of the reasons ) .. because you can touch the feeling using your camera."

Her work is never obvious, beautifully poetic. I find it so easy to get lost in her work, like a great book you can't put down."

Sharon is able to evoke such feelings of passion and melancholy and hope through her images. Whenever the bluechameleon has a new image, I rush to see it-because I know that she has dug into my psyche and has fulfilled a yearning to "feel" a moment in time.......and I continue to be taken away.......Grazie Sharon!"

Her cinematic-eye and core-art expressionisms are at quite a high pinnacle and I find myself floating atop the spaces that unite there. A defining and all-around talent she is! Flickr's hidden secret, I must say!

" There is a lot more going on here at flickr than simply shooting and uploading photos. bluechameleon provides the perfect example of what I am talking about. In her photos I hear poetry, feel emotion, and see incredible beauty. The senses are awakened when viewing one of her her photos. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, I say her photos are worth a thousand feelings.
Here also is a woman who takes the time to consistently notice and leave encouraging comments on my own efforts, which I deeply appreciate, especially coming from someone whose work I admire so much.
I urge you all to take a close look at her photo stream, for here is a woman who truly puts her soul into her work!"

"Everyone loves to go to a show and watch some magician. We even pay money for such an event, and we often equate "magical" with photography. One of the best "magic shows" in photography is to see a good photographer stop, pause, look around, and re-evaluate her work. The unfortunate part with Sharon's work is that such a pause and change gave me a case of whiplash (but, I am taking medication for that now).

There is a magic show going on here, and while we can agree with that about certain photographs individually, the bigger magic is happening when we consider «L'ouvre integral». It would be a shame if you just catch a photo on a pool or her ever increasing presence in Explorer, for the true enjoyment is to constantly watch for her work. This is a work that belies the subject, because that can be rather varied, and really lies within her, and she is offering a peek into such a world.

Hopefully, the magic show remains free of charge, and it will sure keep improving with time. This show is certainly not over!"
