My Cameras:

I started using digital years back when Sony came out with the camera (Can't remember the name of it) that used a floppy disk to record pics on. I thought it was the greatest thing that ever hit the market and thought I took great pictures. :-) Oh, a flickr friend just mentioned the Sony Mavica...that is the one I started out with. Thankfully things are better now.
Then all the DSLR's started upgrading cameras.
It was time to upgrade so I bought the
Sony F-828
Lens: 18-70mm
It now belongs to my hubby!

Upgraded to the A-100 and still use it.
Sony A-100
Lens: Sony 18-70mm F/3.5-5
Quantarary 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 Tele-Macro (1:2)

And just recently upgraded to...

Nikon D-90
AF-S VR Nikkor 18-105mm F/1.35-5.6
Af-S VR Zoom Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6

Hopefully soon I will be able to add a macro lens!


A little about myself and family...

First and for most I am a Christian...serving my Lord and Master is why I am here on this earth.

Second is my wonderful family. We are blessed to have eight children, 18 grand-children, and 12 +1 on the way great-grandchildren. My heart is filled with so much love for each of them! Our family is still growing and are a joy to us. We have so much fun when we gather for birthdays and special occasions. Some of the children live out of town so we have never been able to get all eight families together at the same time. My dream is to have one great big family portrait.

I am an outdoor person...loving nature and all God has given us to enjoy! Where ever I go my camera is with me to record all the beauty. I especially enjoy taking pictures of the family, birds, animals, flowers, landscapes and all nature.

God has blessed with 73 years of seeing and loving his wonderful beauty. These "Golden Years" are not what I expected as I am now finding out that I cannot do some of the things as easily as I could before, especially gardening and hiking. Now is my time for doing my favorite things... photography, bird watching, gardening, reading and traveling.


I hope you enjoy my pictures and will come back from time to time to see the new additions. Please feel free to comment and give me advice about improving my photography. I am always willing to learn something new.
