Hi I'm Christian from North Wales.

I'm Welsh and very proud of that fact, hence the historic flag of St David as my buddy icon! Thanks Mum for making me Welsh!!

I joined on August 15th 2009 as a real novice looking to learn. I had a point and shoot and was intrigued about photography. I have since purchased a Pentax DSLR and hope to develop my skills. (update sept 10. now back to a superzoom, spilled bottle of bleach over DSLR)

Every time I look at another profile I learn something - there are so many very talented people on this site.

I enjoy looking for photo opportunities and I am so fortunate that I live in stunning North Wales. How can you fail to take the occasional good photo in such wonderful surroundings? I just hope that occasionally I do such beauty justice.

Thanks for all your nice comments. Really put a smile on my face and given me confidence to try different things. I have met some really nice people and with such talent also.

Thanks for the help and tips - they are all really appreciated.
I have had some photos published in magazines and newspapers and won a couple of competitions, so that was probably down to such good advice. Also i have a range of notelets and 3 sets of Christmas cards produced being sold in aid of charity, so that was lovely to be approached.
