Potomac Appalachian Trail Club's Blue and White Crew.

Praestantia nostra perturbat = Excellence is our passion!

PATC volunteers formed the Blue and White Crew in the early 1990s to assist trail overseers in the Central District of Shenandoah National Park with projects that were too big for a single volunteer to safely or comfortably handle. In the early years, the crew mainly helped with simple tread repairs or in the removal of large (or numerous) blowdowns. Over the years, the crew has added more elaborate skills to its repertoire, including advanced rockwork projects, and high-line rigging techniques.
