An empty frame captures fragments of a second and holds it motionless, mimics each line perfectly, sets it in silver. The exposed sheet slides into it's bath letting shadows cast their unique stamp. Made with light, handled with delicate care, nurtured to bloom in the dark....
I fell in love with the darkroom when I was sixteen and though we have split paths due to other affairs -- digital invovations and whatnot -- I still find the process as magical as the first time I watched an image bloom before my eyes.
