I love the wild and love being outside in it. For the past couple years I've been trying to reconnect to that part of myself that was almost squeezed out of me by school, work, authority, etc. But I persist by learning primitive skills and old traditions. This includes hide tanning, herbalism, wild foods, wildlife tracking, fermenting, brewing, spinning yarn, knitting, sewing... and lots of other stuff! I love to learn and I love to explore, and I hate being stuck somewhere I don't want to be. That's why I dropped out of college to start traveling and be a hobo--although I'm a bit more settled now and am ready to find a place of my own. Most of the stuff I put up here reflects these desires and my adventurous spirit.
