Bless the weather's photostream  

I have been interested in photography for many years, started by a book of Jacques-Henri Lartigue's wonderful photographs that I was given as a teenager.
Have been doing much more for the last few years, spurred on by admiration for my brother's photography.
I started to put images onto Flickr in Jan 2012, the first time that I have made them available for people to see.
So, I am also having to learn how to present and make the most of my images, a whole new set of skills that are needed. I only make limited types of adjustments to RAW files, using Lightroom and Nik software.
The more I do the more I realise how little I know. Am starting 2012 having learnt a great deal from last year's work, and my aim is to learn from the things that didn't work last year. So my ambition is to find new mistakes for 2012!
