In April of 2004 I left the San Francisco Bay Area - my home for 22 years - to move to Dallas, mainly in order to be closer to my parents.

I have been taking photos since the age of 10, when I learned the principles of photography using my fathers 1951 Kodak Retinette - a nice yet rather primitive little camera with a knob crank film advance and no light meter. You also had to guess your focus, since there was only a hole next to the lens to serve as your viewfinder.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my images.
