Small town "boomer", from an early age drawing was self taught at the kitchen table, also dabbled in three dimensional; polymer clay, wax, and wood. Artist.... more ARTooniest really.... a weekend hobbyist. Arts and graphics school in Chicago after high school but enjoyed being able to hang with the guys and play with cars was a stronger pull. Make a living in sales in one form or another and when ever I can apply my graphics abilities I do.

Moved on to becoming a husband to a wonderful woman (art teacher). Slipped into fatherhood (two sons), homeowner and all else that follows.

I have no real core theory about art, you either like it or you don't, nor do I care to dissect art for the reasons why.

Books and articles about art have been my major learning source after Chicago..... well then there's the art teacher too.

Pleased in my life's learning curve that's been traveled and curious as to where it will expand. I've mellowed with age, see more clear and open to more changes in life and art than I've ever been. But.. I'm still "dazed and confused" about a lot of what life holds..... and the art of living it.
