Below is a map I just added a bit after 9,000 pageviews of my photos on flickr. It tracks the location and number of IP addresses that are checking out my pictures.

While I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to have seen a lot of places, I don't see the philosophy of covering ground as a very useful one. I much prefer to live in a place in order to understand it and somewhat be a part of it.
So while I think these maps are really neat, I have only really lived and spent time in Texas, Hungary, New York, and Senegal.
