I am an AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) whose love for LEGO, and LEGO Space in particular, started when I got my first proper LEGO system set, the Classic Space Starfire I. I have a huge fondness for the Monorail Transport System and a monorail train was one of my first Neo-Classic Space creations. Besides Classic Space/Futuron, the majority of my models are science-fiction themed, including models based on Douglas Adam's Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the BBC TV series Doctor Who and the Cosgrove Hall animation Danger Mouse - even my own spacey creations are heavily influenced by Star Trek design. I am perhaps best known to my mum some as the author of the LEGO space-themed webcomic Tranquility Base where I regularly poke fun at the sci-fi films, TV series and novels I love.
