About me?
2003. The mercury level in the thermometer had begun to fall. After a few days of light showers from the fading monsoon clouds, the air had gotten a little colder. However, the cooler temperature had made the environment quite refreshing. It seemed as if nature itself was enjoying the arrival of the most anticipated festival of lights.

On that cold evening, while most were preparing for the celebration, i was busy quenching my thirst of keeping myself updated of the new things that come with the festival to the house. While going thoroughly through all the closets, a square box wrapped in an attractive paper, with my name on a note, caught my attention. I lifted it up to feel its weight. I carefully opened the box, pausing frequently, bracing myself, and guessing what it had for me. My eyes opened wide with delight. "Wow, this is awesome." It was the camera i had fallen in love with seven years back.

Photography has felt right to me ever since. Over the years, photography has been a boundless self-learning process. As much as i have learned about photography, i have learned to appreciate the richness around the world, and all the wonderful people i have met. It has given me an eye to look at things in another way, tempting my imagination to go beyond what is apparent and discover the beauty that stays hidden within the most mundane things imaginable.

I am currently a senior Computer Science and Mathematics double major at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, PA.
