Blackpresence is looking for Photographs that reflect the black experience worldwide. If you are a photographer who wants to expose your images to a specific market then please email me. I would like to use any images that can improve the quality of our articles. you would receive full credit for your images and a link back to your photo stream or website.

Today the site aims to represent and give voice to all those of African descent, those with African Ancestry and to families with dual heritage members. I particularly want to encourage people who have something to say to blog it here. Let Black Presence become a portal for black documentaion and culture.

Of course the site isn’t restricted or off limits to anyone. We welcome anyone with a willingness to share in and promote understanding of African peoples and cultures in the wider world.

The site has lots of information and articles to get people started in their understanding of the history and culture of Black/African people over the centuries.
