We are on the verge of being senior citizens. We were going to be moving to Washington state to retire, but that didn't happen, along with a lot of other people's retirement dreams. We are staying put in Wisconsin, and reinventing ourselves as market farmers and permaculturists.
A large part of our new enterprise involves poultry. Specifically, Chanteclers, a rare Canadian breed, and Penedesencas, a rare Spanish breed known for their very dark eggs.
