I am trying to become an image maker. I want to be able to point my lens and eye at something and be able to make an image of whatever it is.
I take photos of what inspires me, which is almost anything that emits or reflects light, casts a shadow, etc.

I share my knowledge, I share my workflow, I share my EXIF data. I reciprocate comments as much as possible, and if you add me as a contact, I will take the time to look at your work too. I like to give honest, helpful feedback as often as possible.

    Martin Bailey says:

"After first meeting Landon online in early 2006, I have never ceased to be amazed not only by the breadth and depth of his technical understanding of photography, but also his artistic vision and ability to work these right and left brain functions to produce a continuous stream of images of a quality that most can only dream of creating.

Landon's commitment and dedication to everything photography in unrivaled. Despite being the most prolific photographer I know, it is not uncommon for Landon to go out of his way to write detailed explanations in reply to questions from others, often with backup images to support the text. My online forum for one, would not be anywhere near as valuable a photography resource as it is, without Landon's posts. Not to mention that he also makes time to help out as a moderator. It's sometimes hard to believe that Landon operates within the boundaries of the same 24 hours a day that we are all equally allotted.

I for one know that my life would not be the same without knowing Landon -- a true friend, an amazing photographer and a wonderful human being. I'm looking forward to many more years of inspiration and friendship, and to the day that we finally meet, hopefully not in the too distant future.

"In addition to being one of the most impressive photographers I've seen on flickr, he is hands down the single most helpful. Completely new to DSLR photography, I posted a series of questions over in the forums at www.martinbaileyp..., and he provided extremely insightful and helpful answers.

When I checked out his flickr account I was honored and amazed that someone with such amazing skills had taken the time to answer a beginner's questions so thoroughly."
