Hey, I want to thank you for looking at my photos. You know what? You're pretty cool. Anyways...
I got into photography after getting a point & shoot for Christmas one year. I had a couple months to figure out 'the basics' before my family & I went on a trip to Paris. Skills were not well honed. Fortunately, we had three cameras and each of us [me and my two sisters] got a lot of good/usable photos. After returning from Paris and checking out the results, I noticed some of the pictures I'd gotten were actually not ugly.
Ever since, I've been slowly and happily learning all the little things on my own. I don't really have any photog friends, so anything I've learned is from experience, books or the internet.
