I look at photography the way most people look at hunting. Patience and time and trying to find just the right angle to capture what I want. There are a lot of photos here - but they are a small percentage of what I actually take (thank God for the digital camera)... and in a lot of real ways it catalogs the most important things in my life these last few years. Family, friends, work, play... I draw comfort from the chance to create something beautiful to share with others - but in the end this is about me capturing the memories so I can reflect later on.

I use a Nikon D300 digital SLR, SB800 flash and tend to favor wider angle lenses. I also have an old F100 film SLR which worms it's way out of retirement now and again.

I hope you enjoy my attempt to see the world from my perspective for a moment. I'm open to whatever criticisms you have... so fire away.

    Timmy Fury says:

"With a thousand bad reports coming out of the Middle East each day, I enjoy seeing, with my own eyes, some real reports of the good that the US military accomplishes, through the eyes of someone who's involved. Your photos capture the story in a way that no press release read by President Bush ever could.

At a time of my ever increasing question of the value of my American heritage, you make it okay for me to look in the mirror for another day."
