I've been bird watching for a couple of years, but recently became interested in photographing them as well. I love to get out to locations all around Arizona to find new and interesting birds to photograph. I have over 200 species photographed; check out my Lifelist in Photos set. My interest has expanded to other wildlife and an occasional landscape, but for now I am focused mostly on the birds I love so much.

I am new to photography, and have much to learn about the technical aspects of it. I learn alot and am inspired by my Flickr friends and enjoy receiving constructive comments and viewing everyone's images. I am currently shooting with a Canon EOS Rebel T1i and EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens. Trying to get used to shooting with a Manfrotto tripod.
