Welcome to the world through my eyes! I'm very fortunate that I've been an extremely visual person ever since I was a child. When it comes to "childhood wonder" - I never grew up!

The goal of my photography is to try to offer you views of your world that may be slightly different than which you have been used to. If I can make you say to yourself, "Hey, I never saw it like that before - that's neat!" - then I'll be happy.

I'm a birder and thus always looking for birds to capture with my camera, but to be truthful, I usually end up trying to photograph everything else that tends to "hold still" a little bit better for my camera. Unfortunately, birds tend to be very fidgety and "difficult subjects." ;-)

The photographers I admire the most are those who can make us see the tremendous beauty and wonder in the common everyday things we see in life.

My camera is the versatile Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ18. (28 wide - 504 tele) One camera (with no extra lenses) that does it all!

I live in the beautiful Tennessee River Valley of North Alabama, USA
